Ski base Krvavec

Krvavec is the second largest ski resort in Slovenia, located on the Kamnik-Savinj Alps mountain range, which is part of the Southern Alps.

The nearest city, Kranj, is 25 km from Ljubljana. The resort is located 10 km from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and is the closest ski resort to an international airport in Europe.
The total length of ski slopes is 30 km. The resort is located between altitudes of 1450 and 1971 meters above sea level.
Snow cannons provide a blanket of snow on 90% of the slopes. During the winter season, there is a daily shuttle between the mountain and the capital.

The resort has been awarded more than 20 awards as the best ski resort in Slovenia, one of which is “Crystal Snowflake” – a special prize received if there are 5 “Golden Snowflake” awards as the best ski resort in Slovenia.
It is in Krvavec that the highest mountain hotel in Slovenia is located – Hotel Krvavec 3*/.
