Weekend trekking in the mountains

To visit Alpine Slovenia and not go to the mountains? Are you serious?
   In the Slovenian Alps, there are many marked and equipped trekking routes of varying difficulty,
in any case, they are available to everyone. You don’t need any special climbing or mountaineering training.
Just choose the route depending on your physical and psychological readiness and go!
The cost of the trip includes the services of a professional photographer.
There is a possibility to rent sports equipment.
The transfer to the starting point is available upon request.

1. Simple routes for everyone.

1.1. Logar Valley (to Kochi)

   The pearl of Slovenia. In the mountain circus you will see beautiful alpine peaks, the Rinka waterfall,
walk along a beautiful path to the alpine hut where you can drink wine, beer, have lunch and even spend the night.
– Difficulty: simple, for any age and fitness.
– Climb: 390 meters
– Equipment: not required
– Season: April – November

1.2. Slemenova Spitza (1911m)

   The road to the Vrshich pass (1611m) is a beautiful excursion in itself, you will see the most beautiful Jasna lake, stunning panoramas of the Alps from the mountain serpentine.
From the pass we go to the top by a good path.
– Difficulty: simple, for any age and fitness.
– Climb: 400 meters
– Equipment: not required
– Season: all year round

1.3. Debela Pech (2014m)

   A beautiful ascent path, but the most beautiful views await you at the top, after the pass.
– Difficulty: simple, for any age and fitness.
– Climb: 606 meters
– Equipment: not required

1.4. Vyshevnik (2050m)

   The starting point of the route is the famous Pokliuka Biathlon Center.
From the top you will see the highest peak of Slovenia – Triglav.
– Difficulty: simple, for any age and fitness.
– Climb: 740 meters
– Equipment: not required
– Season: all year round

1.5. Great Vrh (2088m)

   The Karavanke ridge separates Slovenia and Austria. On the way, we will visit the Alpine hut.
– Difficulty: simple, for any age and fitness

2. Routes that require physical fitness and psychological stability.

   2.1. Mangart on the way to Italy (2679m)
This mountain is at the border of Italy and Slovenia. The road to the Mangart saddle passes through the most beautiful places!
In itself, the route to one of the most beautiful peaks in Slovenia is relatively easy, but requires careful passage.
– Difficulty: physical fitness – average, there is a short climbing on simple rocks or just with support
on a steel cable (via ferrata), special climbing training is not required.
– Climb: 624 meters
– Equipment: helmet
– Season: May-October

2.2. Storzhich via Zhrelo (2132m)

   This beautiful route, despite the steepness, can be easily traversed without self-belay equipment.
– Difficulty: physical fitness – average, there is a fairly long climbing on simple rocks or
supported by a steel cable (via ferrata), no special climbing training is required.
– Climb: 1009 meters
– Equipment: helmet
– Season: May-October

2.3. Mala Moistrovka Mount, Hanzov’s route(2332m)
   The route from the Vrshich pass (the most beautiful road!) runs partially up the wall.
In dangerous places, the track is equipped with steel cables, to which it is necessary to fasten a self-belay system. You will not forget these impressions!
– Difficulty: physical fitness – average, there is a fairly long climbing up simple rocks or
supported by a steel cable (via ferrata), no special climbing training is required.
– Climb: 800 meters
– Equipment: helmet, safety belt, self-belay system
– Season: May-October

2.4. Prisoynik or Prisank (2547m)

Словения, гора Присойник

   The route from the Vrshich pass (the most beautiful road!).
The route is not difficult and very beautiful, but it requires exceptional accuracy not to fall, as you’re at serious height.
There is a high probability to meet wild ibex on the route.
– Difficulty: physical fitness – average, there is a short climbing up simple rocks or
supported by a steel cable (via ferrata), no special climbing training is required.
– Climb: 936 meters
– Equipment: helmet, safety belt, self-belay system
– Season: June-October
